Lafayette Police Blotter

A Window of Opportunity, 8/16/11 Someone smashed in the window of a house on Mountain Springs and went right for the electronic goodies--- snatching an I-pad, a camera and assorted jewelry valued at $4,000.

Outstanding in her Field...8/16/11 It can't have been good, whatever she did. Lafayette police served an outstanding warrant for a 59-year old woman. Her charge was "failure to comply with probation." She was denied bail.

It was a very good year...8/18/11 The owner of a 1997 Toyota didn't give anyone permission to take the vehicle, and yet, someone took it. He filed a stolen vehicle report. What part of "it's not yours" don't you understand...?
The very next day someone stole another 1997 car-this time a Honda Accord.

Trailer (not) for sale or rent...8/24/11 Someone on Bacon Court must be sizzling mad at the theft of his/her utility trailer. The trailer was valued at $4500.
