OBA Pays Tribute to 9-11

A picture is worth a thousand words. The Orinda Baseball Association's Pony Fall Ball opening day fell on 9/11/11. Playing America's favorite pastime on such a momentous day in history deserved recognition. Four players noted their jersey numbers and determined their way to assist as retired Marine Fred Matteson shared his personal story about 9-11 before he sang a beautiful a capella version of the National Anthem.
