Lamorinda United Records Upsets, Championship

The Lamorinda United Navy U11 girls won the NorCal State Cup Gold on Sunday, January 29 by beating Santa Rosa 4-2. The win capped a remarkable run that saw Lamorinda United open with a big upset over a top ranked NorCal team from Los Gatos. The game ended with a 1-0 sudden death overtime victory on Jan 21 in Woodland. In the semi-final round, the LMSC U11 girls also pulled off an upset against another premier team, beating Novato 3-0.
