Mother's Day Concert, May 13, 1 to 3 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of music with mom and Tara Linda at this free concert at Theatre Square in Orinda.

Cinderella's Ball, May 18-20. Enjoy a performance by The Orinda Ballet Academy and Company at the Orinda Library Theater. Orinda Starlight Village Players will lure you in with the Agatha Christie mystery, And Then There Were None, at the opening of Players' annual summer theatre series. Fridays and Saturdays, June 1 to 23, 8:30 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 4 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 8 p.m. Outdoor Theater, Orinda Community Center Park, 26 Orinda Way, Orinda. The Hunger Games Come to Orinda - June 23, Gallery Room, Orinda Library, 26 Orinda Way. Compete in games, make crafts, and enjoy survival snacks. Each participant asked to bring canned good or other non-perishable food item as donation to Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Registration begins May 1. Summer Concerts in the Park begin June 12 - Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. With food and beverages available from Loard's Ice Cream, these fun-filled, free musical evenings at the Orinda Community Park are sure to be a hit with families, friends and neighbors. June 19: The Crisis (blues and rock). June 26: Bay Bridge Beat (funk, rhythm and blues). July 3: Cal Alumni Big Band. July 10: Stone Soup (classic rock). July 17: Arts in Bloom...Arts in the Park (Orinda Arts Council) plus Orinda Idol (variety). July 24: Pladdohg (Celtic rock). Sponsored by the Orinda Community Center Auxiliary and supported by the City of Orinda and Orinda Community Foundation.
