| Girl Scout Troop 30618 members Danielle Brown, Haley Charlesworth and Katie Erickson worked more than 50 hours each toward their Girl Scout Silver Award reviving the Camino Pablo Elementary School Garden. These girls organized volunteers to clean out and replant the garden. They called upon local businesses, including McDonnell Nursery, Diamond K, Moraga Garden Nursery and Moraga Ace to donate soil, bark, plants and a decorative garden bench. The girls also involved the after-school club students to teach them about planting and gardening. Each grade now has its own raised bed with plants and space for new plants that will coincide with curriculum. The garden revival was completed in May.
