| Candace Anderson was sworn in to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Tuesday June 26, a bit ahead of schedule, due to Governor Brown filling the vacancy left by the untimely passing of former District 2 Supervisor Gayle Uilkema. Andersen recently stepped down from her post as Mayor of Danville; she had been on the Town Council since 2003. C. Tyson
