Seventh, eighth and ninth grade LMYA boys' basketball players were in a tight race for first as the summer season came to an end. There was a four-way tie for first place going into the final tournament. The Syracuse Orangemen started the season slowly, losing their first three games. They went undefeated after that, including winning the championship.
