Mats Boys' Water Polo Win NCS

The Miramonte Matadors defeated the Acalanes Dons 12-6 in the semifinals of the NCS tournament, before taking on San Ramon Valley in the finals for the second year in a row. The Mats eeked out a 9-8 win to earn the title. Junior Tyler Kirchberg sunk the game-winning goal with 1.53 seconds remaining in the game. This is the seventh time in eight years that Miramonte has earned the title, 13th in 18 years.
