Four Lamorinda Junior Ski Racers Compete at Western Region Junior Championships

Four outstanding Lamorinda junior ski racers qualified to compete at the Western Region Junior Championships in Alaska and Washington. Sierra Ryder, a junior at Miramonte, and Will Leonard, a junior at Campolindo, entered the U18/U21 division.
The duo both had their best race on March 8 in Giant Slalom. Ryder finished 22nd out of 108 racers, the third best finish for the US in U18. Leonard finished 60 out of 135 racers.
Brooke Norton, a sophomore at Campolindo, and Lily Rose Longton, a sophomore at Miramonte, will compete at U16 division in Alaska on March 19-22.
