| Boy Scout Troop 233 announced its most recent Eagle Scout rank awards for Mitchell Brooks, Mitchell Chow and Daniel Cook. These three Scouts will receive their Eagle Scout awards at a national court of honor on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church. For their Eagle Scout Service Projects, Brooks built a 75-foot-long two-rail fence for Castle Rock Regional Recreation Area in Walnut Creek; Chow painted a map of the United States as well as a large map of California at Glorietta Elementary School in Orinda; and Cook constructed a brick fire pit and a covered wood storage shed at the Wagner Ranch Nature Area in Orinda. All three Scouts earned their Eagle awards under the leadership of Scoutmaster Don Larwood with the Assistance of Bruce McGurk and Wes Riggins.
