The Campolindo freshman girls' volleyball team earned a thrilling 25-16, 21-25, 15-13 win over Monte Vista to take first place in the 16-team Dougherty Valley Tournament on Sept. 13. To reach the finals, Campo beat Berkeley, College Park, Alhambra, Amador Valley and Acalanes, all in two-set matches.
