Lamorinda Election Results Update |

The Contra Costa County Elections Division updated its Nov. 4 General Election results after completing the counting of vote by mail ballots Nov. 7; provisional ballots still remain to be counted.
Although the total numbers changed since the preliminary results were posted on election night, for the most part the outcomes did not – with one exception: Carol A. Brown and Hillary Weiner are now tied for the third seat on the Orinda Union School District board, with 3,544 votes each. Julie Rossiter and Jason Kaune came in first and second, respectively.
In the very tight Orinda City Council race, it’s newcomer Eve Phillips, incumbent Amy Worth, and incumbent Dean Orr, who edged out challenger Bob Thompson by 92 votes.
Dave Trotter garnered the most votes in Moraga and will return to the Town Council where he will be joined by Teresa Onoda, who prevailed over incumbent Ken Chew by 790 votes. Kathleen Conroy Famulener retains her Division 1 seat on the Moraga-Orinda Fire District board.
