School Record Gets Lapped

Campolindo boys' varsity 1600m relay team broke a school record to finish in fifth place at the NCS Meet of Champions on May 30. With each member recording personal best times, the relay team beat the school's record by 1.62 seconds, set 47 years ago, to finish with a time of 3:21. 38.
Other Campolindo athletes who made it to the medal stand include Kelley Wirth (high jump), Sarah Cella (800m), Brighie Leach (1600m and 3200m) and Toni Finnane (3200). Leach and Finnane advanced to the state championships.
