Moraga's Interim Town Manager Bob Priebe confirmed at the end of August that the repairs of the failed culvert at the intersection of Rheem Boulevard and Center Street will have to wait until next spring.
The town's public works team and contractors are simply patching the nine-inch conduit to prevent flooding and further damage in that hole during the coming rainy season.
The lane configuration at this intersection should remain the same all winter. For more information see www.lamorindaweekly.com/archive/issue1013/Town-Faces-Delays-in-Sinkhole-Repair.
