Lamorinda Theatres will be having a live stand-up comedy series beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17. Walnut Creek native and ìSaturday Night Liveî alumni Jeff Richards will headline the first show. Richards is best known for being a cast member of both ìSNLî and ìMad TV.î He was the first individual to be a regular on both comedy shows.
In addition to his famous ìDrunk Girlî character, Richards has a vast repertoire of impressions, including Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman and Bill OíReilly. He has appeared on ìLate Night with Conan OíBrianî and ìJimmy Kimmel Liveî and he recently appeared on Netflixís ìReal Robî with Rob Schneider, VH1ís ìHit The Floorî and ìAqua Teen Hunger Force.î
Richards was born in Walnut Creek and attended Las Lomas High School where he created and hosted his own public access sketch comedy show called Hanson Live. Find out more about Richards and his amazing career at www.tastyjeff.com

ëInfernoí Now Burining at the Orinda Theatre
Tom Hanks reprises the role of Robert Langdon, the world-famous seismologist. In ìInfernoî he wakes up in a hospital in Italy, with amnesia and teams up with Dr. Sienna Brook (Oscar nominee Felicity Jones from ìThe Theory of Everythingî) to follow a trail of clues across Europe that are tied to Dante, the great medieval poet. Along the way they learn a virus could be released that would wipe out half the worldís population.
ìInfernoî is the third movie based on the novels by thriller fiction author Dan Brown. The first movie was ìThe Da Vinci Codeî (2006) followed by ìAngels & Demonsî (2009). All three movies have been directed by two¨-time Oscar recipient Ron Howard (ìA Beautiful Mindî). Howard takes the audience on a stunning adventure throughout Europe that results in an entertaining, thrilling journey. Inferno is a movie that will make you think as you struggle to determine the missing pieces of the puzzle.
The film is rated PG-13 and has a total running time (TRT) of 2 hours and one minute.
