Peace Poster contest Draws Hundreds of Entries Locally

More than 200 Lamorinda intermediate school students participated in the 29th annual Lions International Peace Poster Contest this year.
This contest is sponsored by Lions Clubs around the world to emphasize the importance of world peace to young people everywhere.
The theme this year was "A Celebration of Peace," and the winners pictured will move on to the next level of competition. It's estimated that over 600,000 entries from more than 200 countries will compete for a grand prize of $5,000.
