The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection advised of a smoke alarm recall issued late July by Universal Security Instruments and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The company has received reports of 132 smoke alarms that did not properly activate.
Cal Fire advises consumers to check models MI3050S and MI3050SB, as shown in the photos.
