Fresh and local: Orinda Farmers' Market now all year long

At the request of the Contra Costa Certified Farmers' Market, Orinda has approved a year-round farmer's market for the next three years. Starting April 4, the popular market will operate each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Orinda Way.
Staci DeShasier, the CCCFM manager, indicates that the most common customer request has been for a year-round market, and that the majority of providers also favor that schedule. DeShasier believes that the year-round market will likely attract new farmers and vendors as well. The new contract runs through March 25, 2023.
