LYC offers toy drive at Lafayette Community Center

The Lafayette Youth Commission is once again holding its Toys for Tots Toy Drive through Dec. 10. Community members can drop unopened toys, in their original packaging, at the Lafayette Community Center main office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At Christmas, Toys for Tots coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, distribute the toys to the less fortunate children of the community, according to the Toys for Tots website.?
