The 65th Contra Costa County Swim Championship brought together 42 teams and the region’s fastest young swimmers for a weekend of record-setting performances and spirited competition. Founded in 1961 and hosted continuously by LMYA, the meet remains one of the largest and most prestigious summer league swim events in the nation. 

    Meet Director Jeff Miller noted “This year’s championship featured standout swims across all age groups, multiple ties for highpoint titles, and five new County Meet records. It was a fast meet!” With packed bleachers, fast swims, and multi-generational families cheering from the stands, the 2026 Contra Costa County Championship reaffirmed why “County” remains the most anticipated meet of the summer.

● 11–12: Rylee Cox (Dana Hills), Ryan Moore (Del Amigo) 
● 13–14: Carmel Golan (Rancho San Miguel), Valerie Vargas (Benicia), Luke Estrada (Sycamore) 
● 15–18: Isabella Richards (Diablo Sharks), Gavin Wright (Dewing Park), Kyle Stilinovich (Rancho San Miguel) 

Team Results by Division (Local Teams) 

● Division I. Springbrook Swim Team won the division with impressive individual performances and a record-setting relay. 
● Division II. Las Trampas finished second, powered by strong mid-age-group depth and multiple top five finishes. Rancho Colorados finished 17th. 
● Division III. Sun Valley placed third, highlighted by several highpoint podium finishes and strong relay showings. LMYA finished fifth led by highpoint champion Ehsaan Eversley.
