Costumed kids, ages 9 and under, and their parents or guardians are invited to downtown Lafayette from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 for the Lafayette Chamber’s annual “Trick or Treat Street.”  This fun, free, safe Halloween event invites children and their parents to Trick-or-Treat at participating merchants along Mt. Diablo Boulevard from Lafayette Plaza to Dewing Ave., Lafayette Circle and La Fiesta Square. More than 50 merchants including Five Little Monkeys, Lafayette Scoop, Postino, Sideboard, Lamorinda Music, Zoonie’s Candy, Toy and Gelato, and Town Hall Theatre participated in last year’s “Trick or Treat Street” festivities. Children should bring their own bag to collect the free treats!
