The Orinda Library Parking Garage and Plaza will be spookily transformed for the third annual Orinda Parks and Recreation “Trunk & Treat” event on Thursday, Oct. 22, with car trunks festively decorated for Halloween, as well as fun games, displays and candy for the kids, of course!  Three 45-minute sessions will be offered from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., 5:15 to 6 p.m., and 6 to 6:45 p.m. (registration is required for all participating children, ages 1 to 11 years old). There is a non-refundable fee of $7 for residents and $8.05 for non-residents, plus an additional 3% Facility Preservation Fee. After the kids collect their candy, Taste of the World Market Food Trucks will be there for the last food truck evening of the year. To register, visit https://www.cityoforinda.gov/m/newsflash/home/detail/310 and choose your preferred session.
