City of Lafayette dignitaries joined Diamond Construction on June 25 to break ground on Oak Hill, an 85-residence luxury condominium community at 1001 Oak Hill Road in the heart of downtown Lafayette across from Safeway. 

    “Lafayette has been and continues to be committed to providing for more housing in our community,” Lafayette Mayor Carl Anduri said at the ground breaking. “We welcome this new development in downtown Lafayette which will include both market-rate and much-needed affordable homes. We are grateful to Jeff Stone and Brian Griggs for bringing a development with this architectural quality to our community.”

    The seven-story project includes 74 market-rate residences and 11 below-market-rate homes. Completion is targeted for summer 2028. Oak Hill offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences with premium finishes and a level of craftsmanship rare in condominium living. Amenities include a hospitality-inspired lobby, private library and conference room, golf simulator, indoor/outdoor fitness center, Zen-garden, an elevated outdoor lounge with Mt. Diablo views, a dog run, and ground-floor café space.
